So, I’ve been thinking about this topic for awhile now and I know it’s a touchy subject, which is why I chose to wait until I could properly put my words together. Actually, I don’t know about properly but my words are definitely put together.. I’m sure some of you may disagree with what I have to say but quite frankly I don’t give a shit. Is it just me or have black men almost completely strayed away from 100% black women ? This isn’t even a “light skin thing” anymore. According to social media “If she ain’t foreign she boring”..Most of the decent looking/intelligent guys go for and obsess over lighter toned women with long curly hair, smaller nose, full lips, small waist and lets not forget slim thick with a extra side of thick. It seems like most guys are only attracted to filipino, asian, white, latina, dominican etc, life sized Bratz dolls with booty. It’s getting so ridiculous that everyone in America even goes to the same surgeon to replicate that perfect image. I know I’m not the only one who has noticed everyone comes out of plastic surgery looking like Kim K..Why would everyone want to look the same ? MEN that’s why. This certain look is clearly what men want these days, especially black men. Since black women cannot change their race, they now go out and do everything in their power to copy this certain look. Think about it..( this is the part where some of you may say I wear weave because It’s cute and versatile .. yeah yeah stfu ) most black women who wear weaves 90% of the time feel like they look better with longer hair /different texture or both. Although they may not be aware of it, their self esteem may feel lower without it because they feel less beautiful. Also, have you noticed that black men pretend to praise natural hair but really only accept and prefer a certain type of natural hair ? It’s no surprise that guys would rather have a girl with 3c hair ( loose waves ) than 4c ( kinky tight coils )So basically, you can have curly hair but not too kinky.. that’s bullshit ! It’s so many European beauty standards you have to abide by in order to be considered beautiful. All you see in the media are fair skinned women with perfect clear skin, perfect bodies, long hair, and perfect smiles. However, none of this is real. You can’t compare yourself to people who have went through countless surgeries to achieve a certain look, Issa walking filter sis.
